When my husband died, I thought my friends and family would be here for me. But due to Covid, that was not possible. I found this group and now I don’t know where I would be without it. I have formed some very special lifelong friendships. I find myself coming to them when I am having a rough day or when something good happens, before I go to my in-person friends. We have laughed, cried, and everything in between. Sometimes we just sit in silence with the understanding that just being there is all someone may need. Taking the plunge and joining has been one of the best decisions the “new” me has ever made.
