About the Event
Jay Deutsch is a survivor of suicide. Seven years ago the mother of his two children ended her life by overdosing on prescription Xanax. Jay’s children were 3 and 13 at the time. Larissa and Jay met in college when they were 18 and spent 26 years together. During that time there were some ups and downs and he found out later that they were because of her undiagnosed depression and mental illness. It took Jay 4.5 years of suffering before he decided that he wanted to live a normal happy life. Jay lost his job as a graphic/web designer in 2020 when Covid hit. Jay took it as a sign that it was time for change. That is when Jay began his training as a life coach and made the choice to heal and help others to do the same. Jay is now a self-love and mindset coach specializing in loss and grief. Jay and his children have managed to find happiness and he help others to do the same.
