Nancy Hicks is an inspirational communicator who moves people to action by igniting positive change, instilling confidence in others, and effectively demonstrating the ability to communicate through various media.
After Nancy earned her Master's in Theology from Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University, she launched NancyHicksLive, a faith-based, non-profit speaking ministry. She works to ignite confidence and power in people through effective communication. Her desire is specifically for women to live lives that are candid, courageous, and confident. Nancy engages with over 30,000 global followers across all communication platforms.
The author of Meant to Live: Living in Light of the Good News, Nancy has been featured on Hallmark’s Home & Family, The Jesus Calling Podcast, Relevant Magazine as well as in Publishers Weekly, The Christian Post, Christian News Journal, For Every Mom and Philadelphia Weekly.
In May 2019, life took an unexpected turn. While in the middle of graduate work at Harvard University, Nancy’s older son, David, was diagnosed with colon cancer at age 26. After a two-year-long courageous battle, on May 1, 2021, David died. Nancy has learned that life comes to us in moments of glee and vitality but also through piercing pain and grief.
