About the Event
Guest Speaker Bio: Kerry Hager joins Widows in Motion to share tips on Preparing for the Holidays After Loss. Kerry's 30-year background in Social Work and Complimentary Healing Arts, still only prepared her somewhat for the loss of her father in 2001 and the death of her husband in 2009. The personal journey of grief brought Kerry to become a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist and she has found profound meaning in guiding others through multiple different and practical step-by-step programs for all phases of the grief process after learning how to navigate it herself. When not guiding people through Grief Recovery Programs you can find her dog taking Kerry on long walks, attempting to find the right settings with a camera for birding, sitting at Marching band performances for her teen son, and seeking out travel to check off bucket list items.
