About the Event

Guest Speaker Bio: Kerry Hager joins Widows in Motion to share tips on Preparing for the Holidays After Loss. Kerry's 30-year background in Social Work and Complimentary Healing Arts, still only prepared her somewhat for the loss of her father in 2001 and the death of her husband in 2009. The personal journey of grief brought Kerry to become a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist and she has found profound meaning in guiding others through multiple different and practical step-by-step programs for all phases of the grief process after learning how to navigate it herself. When not guiding people through Grief Recovery Programs you can find her dog taking Kerry on long walks, attempting to find the right settings with a camera for birding, sitting at Marching band performances for her teen son, and seeking out travel to check off bucket list items.

Event Information: The Holidays can be an extra stressful and heartbreaking time after significant losses, and up to 3 years afterward, sometimes more.

But it doesn't have to be that way, there are ways to lessen the pain, substantially decrease the stress and even bring some sacredness and peace back to this time of year, even in spite of our precious losses.

Join Kerry Hager, Certified Grief Recovery Specialist for this important, heart and mind-saving talk on Preparing for the Holidays After Loss. She's not only been working with grievers of significant loss worldwide exclusively for the last 3.5 years, but she also comes from a 30-year background of Complementary Healing Arts, Social and Mental Health work and has experienced her own significant losses.

Come learn compassionate strategies and tips on how to navigate this tender time of year in a healthy way without taking years to figure it out on your own.
